Ms. Kajiura lured out the long-forgotten demon inside of me. （Through this song) I felt that "Kimetsu no Yaiba" is even more aggressive than rock. It's like MY FIRST STORY and I are falling from heaven. The addictive lyrics and melody make this song a must-listen! I hope viewers will enjoy the music along with the story.

Hiro (MY FIRST STORY)

"Demon Slayer" brought us together with Ms. Kajiura for the first time. Taking in music written by someone else first so that I can express it in my own way was the most challenging, yet fun part of this project. I'm sure Ms. Kajiura also had both high hopes and concerns for how her work would turn out, but thanks in part to her kindness, we were able to create a great piece. And of course, there's HYDE's vocals. I hope that viewers will feel that "TOKOSHIE" adds a bit of flair to the already great series that is "Demon Slayer."

I was given the honor of writing "TOKOSHIE," the ending theme for anime series "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc." The collaboration of HYDE and MY FIRST STORY was almost too good to be true. Listening to them record the vocals gave me goosebumps because it literally felt like they were breathing life into every single word of the lyrics. I would love it if everyone enjoys the story that they each tell in "TOKOSHIE" as the anime's storyline starts to pick up its pace towards the final stage.

The physical CD containing both "MUGEN" and "TOKOSHIE" will be released on 6/5/2024 in the Standard Edition and the Limited Edition (with original Demon Slayer illustrations on the cover) formats. The bonus DVD that will be included with the Limited Edition will contain both the opening and closing animation from the anime without the credits.
